Manchester City to share points with Liverpool

Roberto Mancini admitted satisfied with the results obtained at 1-1 Manchester City from the trip to Liverpool. Besides being played with 10 men, finished unbeaten status on a positive note.

Vincent Kompany could bring the City ahead after facing Liverpool in the Premier League at Anfield continued. But the situation did not last long because less than two minutes later Joleon Lescott own goal to make the equalizer for a 1-1.

"That's a good result, especially because we played in the final 10 minutes with just 10 people. It is very important," Mancini said as reported by Skysport.

Mario Balotelli is that a red card and had time to make The Citizens play with only 10 people in about six minutes last game. Balotelli expulsion could create intense pressure from the City to the Reds.

But the glories of Joe Hart in goal making the score 1-1 were maintained until the end. Results are keeping the City stay on top of the standings and maintain a five-point advantage over Manchester United.

"Joe saved our situation, but with 10 people we could have a great opportunity by David Silva. But that outcome is important to remain unbeaten because it shows that we are a strong team."

"For us it is a good result because yan (the game) is difficult," complete Mancini.
