According to British Xavi Hernandez is still a great team

Spain and Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez, was eager to try out the power of England at Wembley Stadium this weekend and he also stated that the team coach Fabio Capello is still worth mentioning despite the sluggish performance of the team.

This is the first meeting of the two teams since February 2007 in which England lost 0-2 and then acted as host. Now, Spain and Britain met with contrasting conditions in terms of achievement. Spain is the champion of Euro 2008 and World Cup 2010. England? They even failed to qualify for Euro 2008 and just stepping up to the last 16 World Cup in 2010. The only similarities the two teams is that they were both awarded the classy players in their squad.

England's failure in the last 10 years does not necessarily make one eye look Xavi. He precisely assess the Three Lions are one of the team to watch in Euro 2012 performances.

"Game time is not just a friendly match, this will be a prestigious match," said Xavi told the Daily Mirror.

"We are the world champion in 2010 and England are a great team. The challenge this time Spain is a slick game show and win."

"Based on our success in the 2010 World Cup, we are always expected to play at the same level in each game. It brings pressure on the team," said Xavi.

"In any tournament, World Cup or European Championship, England has always been a favorite for the title," said Xavi who have reached 103 caps for Spain national team.

"At the World Cup 2012, one would think the UK could have a chance to become champion. England has always been a difficult opponent. So, on Saturday will be a game that is unique to Spain. Exams are tough."

But, Xavi also asserted that he believes Spain can beat any team at this time, including the UK at Wembley Stadium later.

"It's not easy and we know the match in London is a difficult test against a very strong team. But I'm optimistic. I believe in the style of play that we have, Spain can beat another strong team."

Fabio Capello white flag on the strength of the England squad before the match

Fabio Capello could be said to be flying the 'white flag' earlier about the strength of his team. In an interview ahead of the friendly match between England versus Spain, Capello said his team did not have enough quality to be aligned with a strong team like Spain. The reason is very simple, players do not have a quality above average as a team.

Capello even called the triumph of the past is only part of Britain. Currently, St.. George Cross is not a major force in European football.

"When it (the triumph of England) is the past. I think we've done a pretty good job," said Don Fabio told The Sun.

"English football (Premier League) has only 33 percent English players, not more. This makes things difficult."

"We have good players from the Premier League itself, but not good enough to play football which is owned Spanish style," Capello said honestly.

"You can not think of playing with one-two touch if you do not have the quality."

England will serve opposition Spain on Saturday 12/11/2011 at Wembley Stadium and Fabio Capello plans to reduce the number of young players.

Danny Welbeck willing paired with Rooney in England squad

Danny Welbeck after appearing in England's position as a partner Wayne Rooney in Euro 2012 qualifier this weekend.

England need a draw against staying Montenegro to ensure a ticket to Poland and Ukraine next year. Welbeck hopes to become a successful part in the game.

"I look forward, not looking forward to the opportunity to play my first competitive match," said Manchester United's young striker told reporters.

"Rooney played well, scoring and creating chances. Just play and train with him is a bonus. Hopefully I can learn from him and learned as much as possible."

"He's a good player to be asked for advice, he's always talking at practice, was advantageous. We know each other games with each other. It is too early, but we've been training for many years and it would be beneficial."

Welbeck ensure Britain remains a serious look if only enough draw.

"I think we did not go to Montenegro by one point. We set out to win and I see no reason not to. All players will play best to show the progress of each. For young players in the squad is more profit in this season , "he concluded.

Wayne Rooney Fame Game Balance Pele

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has compared striker Wayne Rooney to Brazilian legend Pele in the build-up to the club's opening Champions League match.

The Red Devils face Portuguese side Benfica in their European opener, and their manager has said that his star striker can be compared to the world’s greatest ever player, even though he is still relatively early in his career.

Sir Alex told The Daily Mirror: "If you look at Pele, for instance, he was a very aggressive attacker also who could look after himself - so can Rooney.

"They have similarities that way in terms of strength, speed, determination."

Manchester United's manager made the comparison after his Benfica counterpart Jorge Jesus said Rooney had elements of the South American style of playing the game.

He added: "I disagree there, I think Wayne's a typical British player.

"But there have been British players over the years who've had similar qualities that make them great players, whether it's Paul Gascoigne, George Best, Bobby Charlton or Denis Law.

"The similarities are that the boy has great courage, he wants to play all the time and he has incredible stamina. These are added extras to the talent he has.

"Wayne has shown great maturity in his game, that's what happens when you reach your mid-20s.

"You get more authority in game, your timing becomes better and your understanding becomes better."

Sir Alex also backed Rooney to have his best goalscoring season this term after a flying start that has seen him net eight times in his first four Premier League games.

"I'm sure it's a target for him," he added.

"I don't think that matters for him at the moment though. I'm sure he doesn't go out at the start of the season thinking that way.

"But as the season progresses like it did two years ago, when the target was to get over 30, he reached it very quickly and ended the season with 34 goals.

"If that's the target this season and he gets to that, then I'll be absolutely delighted because with Chicharito's ability to score, we could have two goalscorers above 25."

Ashley Young put England ahead

England is a comfortable top Group G thanks to a narrow victory against Wales and needs only a point in next month's visit to Montenegro to secure a place in the final of UEFA EURO 2012.

Ashley Young put England ahead with a third international goal in just six games and even though Fabio Capello is dominated cozy joint, Robert Earnshaw enjoys great chance with 14 minutes left that could be explained abandoned.

Frank Lampard back into midfield with Scott Parker. Chelsea FC player who spent the whole game to prove that even after 33 years could still be one of the regulars on the national team.

Both teams are trying to achieve the objective danger but none of them is a serious threat. It was a slow start in the wet night at Wembley before a crowd that after a 0-3 win against Bulgaria is keen to show that the UK is a rival to be reckoned with.

Wales remain on the field for many games but he jumped at every opportunity that presented itself. Even John Terry is a good chance to save Steve Morison did not end up under sustained by goalkeeper Joe Hart.

Shortly after Wayne Rooney took the opportunity after a great young center, while Stewart Downing volley also tried his luck after winning the rebound.

After moving before seeing no door, Downing tries to beat Joe Ledley pass to cut the England players and he came to the young people who enjoy plenty of space to score after a low shot.

Rooney a few millimeters to connect the new center of Young in one of the highlights of England. The set Capello continued the same vein after a journey through the changing rooms and Young goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey was tested again.

Gareth Barry is a destiny to work with Aaron Ramsey shot but still the British team which creates more danger. A good move for Barry Lampard came to control while Gary Cahill failed to connect the major centers Hennessey turned to perfection.

Impotence score the second goal to put a little nervous that he saw England as Wales could put a tie on the scoreboard after the release of Ramsey but the result was not moving and Capello added three points in Group G.

After short win over Wigan, Ancelotti focuses in Champions League

Chelsea's 1-0 win over Wigan was not a good game for Carlo Ancelotti's squad and the coach is aware of the lack of good football in his team. The next rival, Manchester United, will not be as easy as Wigan, and Ancelotti already warned his players: "We must improve to advance".

Manchester United's number in Champions League are far superior compared with Chelsea, but Ancelotti is convinced that among his players there is enough talent to make history at the Old Trafford.

"We are not converting goals. That's why we suffered so much against Wigan. But that's normal in football. If we are at our 100%, we can beat United" said the coach.

Manchester United fantasy kits

Full name: Manchester United Football Club
City: Manchester
League: Premier League
Stadium: Old Trafford
Fouded: 1878
Shirt sponsor: Aon

Because I'm a bit dissapointed by the last two United kits made by Nike, I made a design for my taste. There are two sets, one for domestic league and one for European games. Both sets are following the Manchester United line for the kits, not a single change in the colour scheme.

The European home kit is almoast the same as the domestic league kit, except the white socks instead of black. The away kit has blue shirt, black shorts and socks. Can be used as the third kit for the domestic league, for games vs teams wearing red-white shirts (Stoke City, Arsenal, Sunderland).
