Given last respects human football in Italy following the death of MotoGP rider Marco Simoncelli in the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia, Sunday (23/10).
Simoncelli is known as a big fan of AC Milan. Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) asked that the Serie A match was preceded by days of silence for one minute.
Milan assistant coach Mauro Tassoti Rossoneri are among the leaders who gave a few words for the tragedy that befell Simoncelli.
"I saw the broadcast on television [when the accident occurred]. Regardless of Simo is a Milan fan, we are very sad, because she is young athletes who go too fast, "said Tassotti told Sky Sport Italia.
Serie A defending champion has also issued a release on the club's official website-related death of Simoncelli.
