The similarities the between David Villa and Juan Mata

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard was pleased with the presence of Juan Manuel Mata in Chelsea. He considered the eye could deliver an enormous contribution as David Silva at Manchester City.

Mata arrived at Stamford Bridge in the transfer market this summer. He was carried off from Valencia at a cost of 23.5 million pounds.

So far, it can be directly tuned eye on the Blues. Of the five parties that he lakoni in all competitions, 23-year-old winger has recorded two goals and one assist.

"He certainly adds a wonderful dimension to our team. We have a very good unit, but nice to have someone with a creative ability that can offer something else," said Lampard told The People.

Incidentally, the Premier League there is another alumnus of Valencia, which is Silva who played in the City. Since joining The Citizens, Silva has indeed been transformed into a great playmaker that hard to replace. Lampard eyes sure can do the same with the Blues.

"Juan's a little like David Silva at Manchester City. He's got the same quality and it will make us grow. He will also continue to be better," he added.

"The reception that he can be in Valencia in the middle of this week's award shows that he can get, also shows what kind of player he is, and what kind of person he is. He will be important to us," said Lampard.
