The Gunners began to improve performance

Arsenal was dogged by injury problems behind players when they host Stoke City in a Champions League week-9, Sunday (23/10). So far the Gunners had conceded 17 goals, second most after Bolton and Blackburn.

Last injury befall their new defender Carl Jenkinson. Jenkinson had injury problems when defending his team in the Champions League four days ago when treated to Marseille. Luckily, Arsenal can win the game with the score 0-1 late goal by Aaron Ramsey.

Name Bacary Sagna was estimated to be derived in this fight. However, Johan Djorou seemed almost ready to be played to fill Carl Jenkinson.

Wenger added that the survival of Belgian player, Thomas Vermeulen, also has made a regular practice. Vermeulen has not yet possible to play against Stoke. As for midfielder Abou Diaby and left back Kieran Gibbs, Wenger stated the possibility that both players will be back in two weeks. Despite losing several players back, Wenger claimed not to worry. Capital won the Champions League, Stoke made sure he could immerse himself in public.

Meanwhile Stoke City have not won when playing at home the Gunners since 1981. Although without Salif Diao and Ricardo Fuller, Pulis believes his side can still achieve his third victory in a week after beating Fulham 2-0 in the Premier League and the Maccabi Tel Aviv 3-0 in the European League.
