Roberto Saldado core positions targeting the Spanish national team

Roberto Soldado managed to determine the narrow victory over Atletico Madrid 1-0 Valencia, and is now targeting a position in the core team of Spain.

Soldado, 26, shines in this early season by scoring four goals in two games early, after scoring a hat-trick against Racing Santander, and now promises to win over coach Vicente del Bosque.

"Obviously, elected to the Spanish national team is the dream of every Spanish player and I want to win a place in the team based on the number of my goals," said Soldado to the U.S. after the game.

Soldado also denied the existence of an oligopoly of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

"You should see the game by game, but Valencia are also a great club, and we want to achieve as good as possible. I do not know where my limit (as a player), I want to continue to grow as a player," continued Soldado.

Two victories in two games makes Valencia sits atop the Spanish Primera Liga with Real Madrid, Barcelona while restrained by Real Sociedad.
