Basel will be treated to Manchester United with a slightly different quality teams than ever before at Old Trafford tomorrow to follow the Champions League group stage this season.
It can not be released to the absence of most of United's players following the pillars of injury problems that befall.
There are at least eight senior players will most likely be absent, like Wayne Rooney, who suffered a hamstring injury as United held at Stoke City last weekend.
Apart from Rooney, Javier Hernandez may also be absent because of injury problems. Michael Owen, Dimitar Berbatov and Danny Welbeck will probably fill the place up front.
In the rear sector, Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling, and Nemanja Vidic will miss because it is still not recovered from their injury problems.
Tom Cleverley and Darron Gibson are still going through their rest period. With conditions like this, Alex Ferguson will probably be doing large-scale rotation in the squad for the midweek game.
