Gerrard's desire to raise the trophy back

Steven Gerrard could be re-affirmed the desire to lift the trophy winners. Liverpool captain was therefore expressed serious to deal with every match in the League Cup and FA Cup.

Admittedly Gerrard, he is hungry to lift the trophy champions after a few seasons missed it.

"Being captain, I want nothing other than go to Wembley with other players lifting trophies and champions," he told Sky Sports.

"We have long not until the final game, so we have to seriously deal with any tournament that we follow, especially when it does not follow the European competition. This can enable us to play our strongest squad."

Gerrard also praised Kenny Dalglish who have created a fantastic squad and have good players in every position.

"So even if we combine a number of players or other players mengistirahat, we still have a formidable squad," he said.

"When you play for Liverpool, all the way to win the trophy. We have to seriously deal with any competition."
