Vice President and Area Economic Sterategis Barca, Faus Jagvier disclose financial condition experienced by Barcelona. He said despite last season managed to reduce debt up to 15% but the club's financial condition is still stable and still large debt burden.
This season Barcelona dare to spend up to 60 million euros or the equivalent of 722 billion to bring in top players like Cesc Fabregas and Alexis Sanchez.
A number of players such as Bojan Krkic, Oriol Romeu and Jeffren Suarez then sold to offset expenses. However, Faus ensure Barcelona's debt is still very large, ie 364 million euros or equivalent to Rp 4, 3 trillion.
"We follow a fairly strict conditions, such as we are committed to the economic growth of this club, and we have reduced debt. Nevertheless we are still in a difficult situation. Our debt is still too high, so we still could not free to dictate the future of the club," said Faus on the official club website.
"This is not a debt that we want and we have to reduce it down to a sustainable level so that clubs can work with the cash flow generated. We can not afford to owe so much money in the bank and we need to generate more revenue," lid Faus.
Barca previously stated that they were indebted for the initial 430 million euros in leadership Sandro Rosell. When Rosell claimed debt was for Barca before it left the board, Joan Laporta. But over time, and even then claimed Rosel debt has been reduced to 364 million euros thanks to a financial policy that he run.
