The History Of Futsal

Futsal is a ball game played by two teams, each consisting of five persons. The goal is to put the ball into the opponent's goal, by manipulating the ball with his feet. Besides the five major players, each team was also allowed to have a backup player. Unlike a football game other indoor, futsal field lines is limited, not the net or the board.

Futsal helped also recognized by various other names. The term "Futsal" is the international term, derived from the Spanish or Portuguese, football and sala.



History

Futsal was invented in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1930, by Juan Carlos Ceriani. The uniqueness of futsal received attention throughout South America, principally in Brazil. Skills developed in this game can be seen in the style shown world-famous Brazilian players outside the room, the regular-sized field. Pele, Brazil's famous star, for example, to develop his talents in futsal. While Brazil continues to be the center of futsal world, the game is now played under the aegis of Federation Internationale de Football Association around the world, from Europe to Central America and North America and Africa, Asia, and Oceania.

The first international match held in 1965, Paraguay won the first South American Cup. Six subsequent seizure of the South American Cup held until 1979, and wiped out all the carpet champion Brazil. Brazil continued its dominance by winning the first Pan American Cup in 1980 and won again at the next scramble pd year 1984.

The first Futsal World Championship was held for the help FIFUSA (before its members joined FIFA in 1989) in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in 1982, ended with Brazil in the first position. Brazil to repeat his victory in the second World Championships in Spain in 1985, but suffered defeat of Paraguay in the third World Championships 1988 in Australia.

Regulation

Field Size

1. Size: length x width of 25-42 m 15-25 m

2. Boundary lines: the line width of 8 cm, which touch on the side line, goal line at the ends, and transverse center of the field, 3 m center circle; no barrier or wall board

3. Penalty area: arc measuring 6 m from each post

4. Penalty line: 6 m from the midpoint of the goal line

5. The second penalty line: 12 m from the midpoint of the goal line

6. Zone change: local 6 m (3 m on each side of the midfield line) on the side of the stands of throwing

7. Hurdles: 2 m height x width 3 m

8. Surface area throwing: smooth, flat, and not abrasive

Middlesborough Futsal Contest (kits 12 and 13)

These are the last two designs for this contest, because its deadline is approaching. The kit nr. 12 is navy blue with red curved band on the chest that continuing on the top of the back. The short is very simple, only a thin red stripe on the back. On the socks repeats the red feature from the shirt.
The last design (nr. 13) is blue with darker shade of red lines on the chest and sleeves (on front). The same feature repeats on the lower part of the back (shirt) and on the top of the back on short. On the back of the socks is a red vertical line from the turnovers to the half of the sock.

Middlesborough Futsal Contest (kit 11)

I started this version with a new approach, design and colour also. The blue and red combination is not realy my favorit, therefore I replaced the red with a darker shade (blood red). The design is based on an orizontal panel on the shirt, obtained by combining the errea logo. This feature is used on the socks too. On the trims of the sleeves and short is a part of errea logo (also on the back of the short). From the edges of the errea shapes starts the stiches between different fabrics (more perforated fabric for the parts that need more ventilation).
After the finish of the kit I changed the base colour from blue to navy blue as is requested in this competition, and made two other kits. For the first I combined the navy blue with blood red.
The more accurate version will be this one, with navy blue and red (as is used in the team's crest).

Middlesborough Futsal Contest (kits 8, 9 and 10)

For the next three design I created a feature consisting three errea logos and put that on the arms, short and back of the socks. The shirts fabric (besides sleeves) has a watermark with errea logo all over it.
The 8th kit is all blue with red trims and V neck and red errea shaped lines on the sides.
The 9th kit has a little agressive combination with red arms and red short.
A softer version (10th) only with red arms and red turnovers for socks.

Middlesborough Futsal Contest (kit 7)

Restart the work for this contest and came with the 7th design. Changed the colour shade and used a simple design, based on association of three errea logos (used instead of stripes on short, back of the socks and below arms. The red parts are made from different fabric (perforated for good ventilation).

Two more version of previous designs, first an asimetrical and a second kit with blue stripes on red sleeves.

The third and fourth designs for the Middlesborough Futsal team are based on the same template, the difference is made by the colour of the sleeves.

My second attempt for this Contest, based on the first design, a little darker shade of blue and the red panel on front.

Middlesborough Futsal Contest (kit 1)

My third participation in kit design contests, hope more succesfully then the privious two. I have a some designs for this team, this is the first. It's something different to design for futsal team because myself practice this sport for long time. The novelty is designing for Errea, hope I'll not disappoint. The easiest part for this team is that the team is new, 2007 is their first year, and there are no limits imposed by tradition. Still I made a first kit very simple, the next one will hame some more variations.
