Obi's father abducted



Nobody previously thought Mikel Obi's presence on the pitch when strengthening his club, Chelsea, accompanied by an alarming news. The accident is being experienced by Chelsea's Nigerian midfielder after his family reported that the father abducted and until now its existence is still mysterious.


Michael Obi, who worked at the company's interstate transportation in the city of Jos, not up to the house after work on Friday (08/12/2011) evening local time.

Family communication totally disconnected on Saturday, (08/13) when they no longer hear the answer from Michael Obi cellular phone.

Obi Mikel had in fact received the news shortly before the game versus Chelsea Stoke held at the Britannia Stadium on Sunday (08/14) yesterday. However, Mikel while maintaining professionalism and choose to be willing to play by the Villas Boas.

"SEM confirmed that the client's father, John Obi Mikel, kidnapped in Nigeria on Friday, August 10. Until now, there is no demand for ransom has been received," read the statement on the management group of Mikel told Eurosport.

"Mikel has been told by his manager before the party Stoke vs Chelsea and decided to compete for the team and his family do not feel disappointed."

"Chelsea FC take legal advice to hold a press conference today (Monday) and security issues around Mikel."

The incident that befell Michael Obi is the second incident experienced by the top players after the younger brother of Nigeria Nigeria captain, Joseph Yobo was kidnapped for 12 days, three years ago.
