Bikini-clad Russian women's football team

After dwindling attendances, a Russian women's football team have gone to extreme lengths to try and woo supporters back to games by playing in their bikinis! FC Rossiyanka are actually a rather professional team having won the Russian Women's Premier League 3 times and qualifying for the Women's Champions League twice too.

I don't know whether this is serious or just a publicity stunt, but even the nature of it probably makes most female football fans or others involved in the industry quite frustrated; it does seem like a step backwards, although I'm pretty sure we wouldn't see something like this in the UK. Many of you would probably think I'd be appalled by this, but if you know me or follow me on Twitter then you'll know I think it's rather funny and I'm not fussed by this sort of thing.


However, the question I pose to you is...what would you all think if this was the other way round and a male football team played, say, topless and in small shorts to encourage fans to games?!
